MEXICO, Mexico City, clump of two cob 8 reales in encrustation, Philip IV, assayer not visible. 102.64 grams total. Roughly 2½" x 2" x ¾". Nice solid stack of two cob 8Rs with large chunk of tan coral, top coin with weak but full cross and some legend detail, some greenish spotting due to probable corroded copper from the wreck as well as a few small iron chunks in the coral. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
